Just play the game, you'll learn as you go along. It doesn't matter what you pick, experiment with things, you can always change them around later.

Note on vocabulary: I think you mean Monster when you say Mob. Mob is when there's a group of monsters.

Ehh ok, might be the case in GW... in WoW a mob is just one monster!

Originally "mob" was slang for "Mobile Object", which is slang on the dev side for any object in the game that moves without player interaction. Yes, one monster is a mob. Multiple monsters are mobs.
That mob is also a term for a crowd can confuse those who weren't around in the old MUD days, but I assure you, one monster is a mob.
Peace,

[skill]Fireball[/skill] affects all adjacent foes as well, but you cast it to 1 foe.
If you are going to by a nuker, take as many points in fire magic and energy storage....

Thanks for the correction. However, the community still usually uses "mob" as a group of monsters.

A thing to keep in mind is that the AI likes to run from AoE's this can be a problem (or a blessing if you need to run for it) so they should only be used a the right time (when the AI is snared, knocked down etc)

As an Elementalist, the number one thing that you can do is Cause Damage, General Mayhem, And Panic. If you are being attacked by a warrior, run away or as they say, Kite. But lets take a look at why you run. You run becuase that warrior will slice you too ribbons in miliseconds. Didn't you notice that Elementalist armor is made of cloth? taht could explain things. I also reccommend testing out each element to find the one that works for you. I did this, and though i have many friends and Guild Members that swear by fire magic, i found that water magic was the best for me.
You will learn as you go along
Good luck!'
